Tim Van Riper

Tim lived in Southern California most of his life and although he drank bourbon for good amount of those years, it wasn’t until he moved to Louisville Kentucky that he really jumped into bourbon head first, and created a platform to educate and inspire those that wanted to enjoy and immerse themselves in the spirit.

Tim is a digital creator well known as the Singlebarrelsnob together with co-hosting alongside Jack Beguedou on Mondays Suck.  Tim is also a key contributor and celebrated writer for Modern Thirst – Whiskey News and Reviews from around the USA and beyond.

Always incredibly fascinated with what bourbon has to offer and what goes into making a great bottle of whiskey; from the earth that birthed the beautiful oak for its barrels to the grain that shines through when it first hits your lips. Tim isn’t just a lover of bourbon; people are his true passion and passing along his knowledge of a life-long journey in spirits is where he truly shines.
